The White Rock Wave Masters Swim Club was formed in 2001 after breaking away from our sister club,Winskill Otters, in Delta.   The club has become more of a fitness and social gathering rather than highly competitive as in the past.

The club is still semi-competitive but welcoming to all ability levels but is NOT a learn to swim program, although the main focus is on stroke improvement and efficiency.  The abilty to swim 50m. both freestyle and one other stroke is required and good physical condition is an asset.  The minimum workout for the slower lanes is about 2000 m. per hour

Age limit 18-102 as of Dec.31, 2008. Our membership has been at a steady 30-35 members since inception.

Club members currently hold numerous BC provincial and Canadian records and many attend monthly meets in the lower mainland and on the island.
